Starting on 1 January 2024, neurologist and group leader Astrid Juhl Terkelsen will assume the role of clinical professor specializing in diseases of the autonomic nervous system at Aarhus University.
In her new capacity, she will focus on advancing research in areas such as neuroinflammation, the early identification of Parkinson’s disease, and other critical aspects of neurological health. This groundbreaking appointment marks the establishment of Denmark’s first clinical professorship dedicated to this specialized medical field.
